William
Emerson
William Emerson, Jr., was born in Hammond, Indiana,
on January 25, 1982. Mr. Emerson graduated from
Purdue University West Lafayette with a Bachelor of
Science degree in Civil Engineering in 2004 and
received a Juris Doctorate degree from Loyola
University Chicago School of Law in 2008. Prior to
attending law school, Mr. Emerson worked as an
environmental engineer. He also worked as a law
clerk for the Lake County Circuit Court during the
summer of 2006. He was admitted to practice law in
the State of Indiana and before the United States
District Court for the Northern District of Indiana
in 2008. Mr. Emerson is a member of the Lake County,
Indiana State, and American Bar Associations.
Mr. Emerson is an associate in the Merrillville firm
of Lucas, Holcomb & Medrea, LLP, primarily
practicing civil litigation. His practice areas
include personal injury, commercial litigation,
family law, and collections. He is also an approved
Guardian ad Litem in Lake County.
